"Proud and insolent youth," said Hook, "prepare to meet thy doom."

"Dark and sinister man," Peter answered, "have at thee."

I love how this is reminiscent of the pics of Barrie and the Davies boys when they used to play Peter Pan ^_^ great picture!

Aw, thanks. Wow, you have done an impressive amount of work on your Peter Pan Manga. Really nice job. I've been doing a webcomic for almost a year now and am only on page 15. Slow work, but fun.

Have you seen the Peter Pan Graphic Novel currently being worked on by *RenaeDeLiz? I drool over it.

No problem ^_^ Awww, thanks! ^///^ I really love the project ^_^ Working on getting volume 1 ready too!

I have indeed! I have a book coming through the kickstarter, and Renae and I occasionally talk Peter Pan and adaptation ups and downs ^_^

Oh, how fun. I love how visually adapting a work really makes you dig into the material, exploring all the themes and symbols, etc. It makes me think how much more I would have enjoyed my English lit classes, back in the day, had we been able to use that to do literary analysis and discussion. It would be a valuable part of the teaching process for people who process things better visually than verbally.

I was too late to the game to support her through kickstarter and have my fingers crossed that they'll have surplus on their print run, because seriously if I do not own those books I will cry. I wish she'd consider doing a print-on-demand or something.

Oh, so true. Despite having read the book a ton of times, there are always still little gems to find! ^_^

There's a list you can add your name to, did you manage to get on that? There's a link somewhere on her DA.... If she does volume 2 via kickstarter, perhaps she'll do a book 1 and 2 set? That's my plan when I finish volume 2, so who knows ^_^

Yeah, I added my name, but she's been careful not to make any guarantees. I didn't realize she was doing a separate kickstarter for each volume...if that's the case I have hope that maybe we can at least get in on subsequent volumes.

Ah good. Well, I assume so, unless her publisher takes the series and runs with it.
