My husband helped with the coloring on this one. Ain't he the greatest? It was his idea to do the dark panels in shades of blue, and for that brilliance I will forgive him for saying my cauldron-born look too cartoony.
This might be it for a while. I have no more pages inked and only a few panels sketched, and am in the middle of a new Art Nouveau piece. So read slowly and make it last.
Darn. I read it too fast... Can't wait for more...unfortunately...I have to agree with Matt... The Cauldron born DO look cartoony... but I'm afraid I have no brilliance to make up for it... eep! by the by... is there any chance that we might be able to see them any larger?

Agh, I read it too fast too. *sigh* Well, at least we have the big reveal! And the Cauldron Born look a little cartoony, yeah, but it's not bad! The Horned King is so creepy, it doesn't matter.
The last frame (naturally) is my favorite. But the idea of using the Gwythiant to frame the two nightmare images is genius . . .
Of course I'll be yearning for more! But I understand that even brilliant artists have lives, so I'll be patient
Thanks for the pages you posted, anyway!

Omg I love these comics! I agree with FaerieCarousel, the gwythiant thing is genius! The whole thing is genius!

The Nightmare panel is fantastic. I can't remember exactly what was it he was dreaming, but it's still wonderful. The second panel on the second page looks as though the lineart looks as though it's been drawn with your left hand...or at least the oposite from your writing/drawing one - and DO NOT take this as a bad thing, please. I support this kind of goofing around . I love it, as usually

I don't know, it's just a little bit different, and I like that!

When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

LOL I don't know what is different about that panel you mention. It looks a little choppy, I guess.
