YOU LOVE THE PRYDAIN CHRONICLES!!! THAT IS GREAT! I was looking at someone's favorites and found "Last Treasure of Llyr" in there, and I was like "Holy crap, I know exactly what this is!" Right now I'm actually rereading Taran Wanderer for, like, the fourth time, so I've had the series on the brain. I love that your illustrations of the characters (particularly Fflewddur) seem to have gleaned a lot of inspiration from Jody Lee's covers. She's still one of my favorite artists, but her Prydain covers were a really early source of inspiration to me (like, 3rd grade-type early).

Anyway, it's always great to find other artists who get inspired by the same things I do, even if the end result of artistic subject matter varies wildly. Cheers, and keep up the good work :D

Thanks, and I'm glad you found me. And yes, I ADORE the Jody Lee versions - they were on the first Prydain books I found and when those particular copies fell apart from much love, I tore off the covers and kept them in a binder. Her work is fantastic.

Hope you stick around!

Oh, I know it is! :D She's so great... when I was a kid, I read the series all out of order. I got The Castle of Llyr with her cover as a Christmas gift from one of my aunts, and immediately fell in love with her style, and then I wanted to track down just the editions with her covers. I did the same thing with Madeleine L'Engle's Wrinkle in Time series, and while I've gotten my hands on Wind in the Door and Swiftly Tilting Planet, my copy of Wrinkle in Time is this hideous late-70s-looking thing. I just want all my books to match... :B

As to sticking around, I sure will. Been here 6 years and counting so far! ;)
